New York City Trip

Hank and I went to NY this weekend to see a couple of shows and to see the city. We got there late on Thursday night and stayed at a Hotel right off of Times Square. It was actually the same hotel I stayed in with my family when we went in 1988.

After walking around Times Square we went to Central park to have lunch at Tavern on the Green. We also took a carriage ride around the park.

After our carriage ride we went to Macy's, to buy Hank a coat, and to see the biggest dept store in the world. We also went to the top of the Empire State Building and took several pics. It was very cold but it was incredible to be able to see the entire city.

On Thursday night we saw Wicked and it was amazing. It was raining so we weren't able to get a cab. By the time we got to the show Hank and I were soaked. Needless to say there are no pics from that night because we weren't looking our best. On Friday morning we went to Ground Zero on the south part of the city.

Our last night in the city we saw Chicago and walked around Times Square. It was a great trip!
